Museum visit 5/3/14

We had a great visit to the museum today to look at Viking artefacts. Everybody enjoyed it and saw many very interesting things. The favourite was the skeleton of the man with no feet. We also were very impressed with the horse skeleton too. Children!!!
Thank you very much to Mrs. Chakma, Umut’s dad, Coco’s dad and Ayah’s mum who all came to help, making our visit safe and interesting.
Lastly, well done P.3 for being so well behaved. It was a pleasure to take you out and maybe we will do it again.

In P. 3 we have been learning our 3 times table. We are just about to start on the 6 times table and are very excited about it..

We have been making Scottish pipers at art and craft and have added them to our Scottish display board. We already have painted thistles on the board and Forth Railway Bridges. Some of us have been making flying dinosaurs. We read “The Lost World” by Arthur Conan Doyle and wanted to make a dinosaur. Abhilash found a good model in a book we cound make and did a prototype for us. Well done Abhilash.

Congratulations to Luna for winning the poetry competition in P.3. Her expressions and actions was amazing. I see an actress in the making.

Also congratulations to Lakshya for winning his medal in Judo.
