We have been using craft to help us learn what it was like for children going to school during WW2. This has been a great activity for developing empathy. Plus our masks look really 😎 cool!
P7 are continuing their Keeping Myself safe program, building on strategies learned in P6. They are learning how to recognise when you are unsafe and strategies for keeping safe. They are learning how to deal with peer pressure and to make good choices.
I am very impressed at how mature and responsible they have been during class discussions.
P7 had great fun writing their song for the Never Such Innocence project at Edinburgh Castle.
We will be travelling to the castle by coach tomorrow and leaving the school at 5.30pm sharp. We will return back at school at 8.15pm ,to be collected by parents. We can’t wait and we are going to be well rested and ready to perform tomorrow.
It is going to be really windy so make sure you have a warm coat on and full school uniform.
